Barnes Family Foundation (Show Client Details)

The Barnes Family Foundation was established in 2001 when “Sister” Patricia Barnes, the woman behind Sister Schubert’s Rolls, decided to use her financial resources to aid others. Sister formed a family foundation to provide charitable services to the public, and the Barnes Family Foundation was born. Since its inception in 2001, the Barnes Family Foundation has donated more than $700,000 to charities, scholarships, and historical preservation. The Barnes Family Foundation was dedicated to seeing the realization of Sasha’s Home by supporting its mission and fund-raising efforts, and they have since opened Sasha’s Home in Gorlovka, Ukraine, which serves as a loving environment for abandoned children to thrive while they await adoption.

The Barnes Family Foundation came to us for help in branding, design, and public relations. The Idea Boutique then designed ads, invitations, posters, and rack cards in collaboration with the charity, as well as published Sister Schubert’s cookbook, Cast Your Bread Upon the Waters. Our work with the Foundation led to a Gold ADDY award in 2008 for our work on “Let the Little Children Come to Me.”
